My Favorite Drug Store Product

Raise your hand if you've tried more foundations, tinted moisturizers and BB Creams than you can count. Me too. My criteria is that it must have good coverage (at least a medium coverage), not feel sticky or heavy, leave my skin looking flawless with minimal effort, stay on all day and won't make me break out. Bonus points for sun protection and natural and/or organic ingredients. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to proclaim Garnier SkinActive BB Cream the winner! I have used this BB Cream on and off for a few years now and every time I try something new I always go back. It holds up to every single one of my criteria plus it has SPF 15. AND it costs less than $15. What?! I know.

I prefer the Oily/Combo Skin version myself, but I have tried both. The Oily/Combo Skin is a super lightweight formula that goes on really evenly with very little product needed. I apply it with my fingers and have never had a problem with streaks or uneven areas. The Anti-Aging version is thicker and creamier and definitely meant for drier skin, but my combination skin could handle it just fine. There are currently only two shades of each - Light/Medium and Medium/Deep - so some may have trouble color matching their skin tone.

My only wish is that this was at least a little more natural and organic. But since this and my mascara are the only makeup products that I use that aren't in that category, I give myself a pass. Feeling confident in your flawless skin is worth it. Try it and tell me you disagree.
