Today has actually turned into a beautiful winter day. We had snowfall for the second morning in a row, making morning commutes really challenging. But the snow has stopped and the sun has come out and it's quiet and peaceful. I've always said I'm a summer person, but these are some of my favorite kinds of days. The kind where you can tuck in with a good book and your favorite snuggle buddy and a blanket. They are one of the many reasons that I prefer to live where there are four seasons (if you count the incredibly short "spring" we get here in the upper Midwest).
What are you reading this month? I'm starting The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood for my book club. I'm looking forward to digging in, though I'm a bit apprehensive. I've read one other Atwood and it wasn't my cup of tea. But so many people have recommended this one that I have to give it a try. I'll be curious to see it on Hulu later this spring too.
In an ideal world I would be pairing my new book with a new pair of pajamas. There really is nothing like a new pair of PJs. And fresh sheets. Mmmmm...
