Where have you gone Mrs. Robinson?

It feels like forever since I've posted, and in blogging-time, it has been. The more years that pass the more I realize that January and February are my "down" months. I don't necessarily mean depression, but rather a general lack of energy or ambition. I binge TV via Netflix like it's my job and something makes me think I'm not the only one! And even with a task like blogging, which doesn't absolutely require me to even leave my bed, I've gotten lazy. But after a week away in Mexico with my husband I'm ready to dive back in.

It's now early March and in the upper Midwest that usually just means a continuation of snow and clouds and more snow. However this year's mild winter has led to an early thaw that is a little bit frightening, if I'm being honest. When we booked our vacation we assumed we would be desperate for a week at the beach. I'm not saying we didn't need a vacation or don't appreciate it, but it was a scant 20 degrees warmer in Cancun than it was in the Twin Cities when we returned!
All this to say that I'm starting to pull back on my heavier, richer, creamier skin products a little earlier than usual. One of the first items I'm transitioning to is the Weleda Wild Rose Body Oil. I adore body oils, but they aren't quite enough for my skin in the winter. But as soon as I can I start to use them again to give my skin a mid to lightweight moisture with a heavenly aroma. I've tried most of the Weleda Body Oils by using the Starter Kit and the Wild Rose is by far my favorite. Roses are one of my favorite scents and this body oil also contains rosehip leaf extract which is high in antioxidants and vitamins E and A, to promote cell turnover. To use I pour a nickel-size amount into the palm of my hand and massage onto my legs and another nickel-size for my arms. This oil absorbs really nicely since it contains jojoba oil and sweet almond oil.
Do you have a favorite body moisturizer for the spring and summer? Or do you prefer to use the same products year-round?
